Down & Derby Cleaning is a small residential cleaning service near Saratoga Springs, NY.

Hi, I’m Maejan, but you can call me Meg! I’m the owner and operator of Down & Derby Cleaning. You can think of me as your house cleaner, housekeeper, or simply your cleaning lady. Over the years, I’ve professionally cleaned everything from the morgue to small commercial offices, from veterinary kennels to short-term rentals and boutique Bed & Breakfasts in the Adirondacks and Catskills. My specialty (and passion!) is residential homes! Mobile homes, apartments, million dollar houses and everything in between - we all deserve the comfort of a clean place to relax and unwind.

I love getting to know the families I clean for, learning their household routines, and earning the trust of their pets (who usually greet me at the door). I take pride in noticing the details, like where dust bunnies collect, which areas matter most to you, and even who you’re rooting for on game day. That personal connection is what sets me apart from bigger, faceless cleaning services.
