Down & Derby Cleaning is a small residential cleaning service near Saratoga Springs, NY.

Hi, I’m Maejan, but you can call me Meg! I’m the owner and operator of Down & Derby Cleaning. You can think of me as your house cleaner, housekeeper, or simply your cleaning lady. Over the years, I’ve cleaned everything from morgue spaces and veterinary kennels, commercial spaces and small offices, to short-term rentals and boutique Bed & Breakfasts in the Adirondacks and Catskills. My specialty (and passion!) is residential homes.

I love getting to know the families I clean for, learning their household routines, and earning the trust of their pets (who usually greet me at the door). I take pride in noticing the details, like where crumbs collect, which areas matter most to you, and even who you’re rooting for on game day. That personal connection is what sets me apart from bigger, faceless cleaning services.

Making your day brighter is my greatest joy. I believe the best gift I can give is more free time and a home that feels refreshed and cared for.

I offer a range of services, from everyday Standard Cleaning to detailed Move-In/Move-Out Cleaning, with the option to add Deep Cleaning tasks to customize your experience.
